Yorkshire Wildlife Park upgraded to Quantum by Cunninghams EPOS Group in 2013 to manage both retail and hospitality operations under one system.
Requirement
In 2013, Yorkshire Wildlife Park embarked on a journey to enhance its operational efficiency and support future growth with a new EPOS solution. The park, which was already growing rapidly and had further ambitious expansion plans, was looking for a comprehensive system capable of managing both retail and hospitality operations within just one platform.
Solution
Impressed by the feature-rich capabilities of the Quantum EPOS solution, Yorkshire Wildlife Park partnered with Cunninghams, initially implementing a handful of terminals throughout the park.
As the park expanded, Cunninghams installed additional terminals across various facilities, including the park’s immersive-themed restaurant, Evolution, and the Hex Wildlife Hotel which opened in 2022. Quantum's seamless integration with the hotel's Property Management System (PMS) is crucial for maintaining efficient and streamlined operations.
Looking ahead, Yorkshire Wildlife Park is set to also incorporate Quantum’s Shopify integration into their operations. This integration with one of the world's largest e-commerce platforms aims to link the park’s online store with their Quantum system, eliminating the need for manual record-keeping, reducing the risk of human error and saving valuable time.
