Cunninghams EPOS Group is proud to sponsor Farm Retail Association’s highly coveted ‘Large Farm Shop of the Year’ award. As specialists in providing EPOS systems for the sector, Cunninghams appreciates what it takes to become one of the best farm retailers in the UK and to be shortlisted as a finalist for this prestigious award.
The winner will be announced on Tuesday 1st March 2022 at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead, as part of the Farm Retail Association's annual conference.

This family run farm shop in Wakefield has just opened the first farm fresh Drive Thru in Yorkshire, dedicated to local fresh fast food! Around 75% of what they sell, they produce, customers can order online for click & collect, as well as local home deliveries. This multi award-winning farm shop and cafe already has several accolades to its name, including ‘Great Taste Shop of the Year’ and the ‘UK’s best farm shop’ and are hoping to continue their success.
This Devon farm shop started nearly 50 years ago and has since grown into a unique shopping destination, with a working farm at the heart. Darts Farm has everything you could possibly need from a day out, with retail outlets, bike hire, a 22 acre vineyard, a bird hide, fishing ponds, an animal corner and play area, to name a few. Darts Farm also offers food prepared by BBC Masterchef winner, masterclasses run by their in-house expert chocolatier and their very own chocolate and fizz festival.
Based in Bradford-on-Avon this 150 acre sustainable farm has been in the Bowles family for over 5 generations. With over 100 years of farming experience they are proud to provide the best food in their farm shop and kitchen. Hartley Farm are committed to reducing single use plastic and minimising waste, and produce 45% of their own energy requirements from the solar panelled barn roofs. Their converted agricultural barns house businesses who share their ethos for sustainability and they are working towards becoming a carbon neutral site.
This Chichester based farm shop, owned by the Kendall family since 1984, promotes local produce and products fresh from the farm, as well as serving it fresh in the cafe. They have pick your own fields and a pet food warehouse where they stock a wide range of products to suit all animals.
Chairman of the Farm Retail Association, Rob Copley said; “This could be our toughest awards yet, the calibre of entries is so high, this will certainly be a difficult one to judge!”
