Natasha's Law
Compliance Made Simple
Clear and accurate food labelling is no longer a nice-to-have — it's a legal requirement. Introduced in 2021, Natasha’s Law mandates that all prepacked for direct sale (PPDS) food includes a full ingredients list with allergens clearly highlighted. Cunninghams EPOS Group helps businesses meet these obligations simply and effectively, with smart labelling solutions integrated directly into your point-of-sale systems.

What is Natasha's Law?
Natasha’s Law was introduced following the tragic death of Natasha Ednan-Laperouse, who suffered a fatal allergic reaction to undeclared ingredients. The law applies to any food packaged on the same premises it is sold, such as sandwiches, salads and baked goods in cafés, bakeries and farm shops.

This means if your team prepares and prepackages food for sale, you must include:

-
A full ingredients list
-
Allergens clearly emphasised (e.g., in bold, capitals, or colour)
