Solution
Becketts Farm has been a Cunninghams EPOS Group client for over 10 years, previously using Cunninghams’ legacy product called Absolute. Becketts Farm spoke to Cunninghams about upgrading their system and moved over to Cunninghams’ feature-rich Quantum software during lockdown.
Outcome
The team at Cunninghams ensured moving over to Quantum was a straightforward and easy process. The software offered Beckett Farm additional functionality and increased efficiency, reducing queue waiting times, whilst improving the customer’s experience.
The Quantum system provides a FIC compliant scale and labelling solution which integrates seamlessly with our EPOS system, so customers can source items from different areas of the farm - bakery, butchers and fruit and veg – and pay from just one terminal, rather than queuing at different locations on site.
The farm is currently using Quantum’s loyalty feature to enable the business to sell experience days, such as butchery days and cream teas. They can also be used as gift cards to be spent at the café and farm shop, helping to increase their footfall and revenue.
The site is using 18 terminals, all with integrated chip & PIN. Whilst all the terminals on-site work together from one centralised solution, the system is fully redundant, which means that if a master terminal goes down, they can all run independently if needed. The system doesn’t rely on the internet to work, which is particularly useful due to the farm’s rural location.
Over the years, the business has expanded to include a farm shop, retail, cookery school and café on site. As a result, Becketts required a system that could handle both the retail and hospitality sides of their growing business.
