Receipt and journal printer
The TE-2400 features two fast, 58mm wide thermal printers. Printing speeds of 14
lines per second mean your customers will receive their receipts quickly. To give
your business a professional appearance, graphic logos and watermarks can also be
printed. With easy drop-in paper loading for simple paper roll replacement, the
TE-2400 ensures fast and efficient operation.
Table control function
A basic table control function is provided for small restaurants, cafes and bars.
Purchased items can be input against a table number, allowing easy check tracking.
By attaching the TE-2400 to a remote kitchen printer, food orders can automatically
be printed in the kitchen, maximising order preparation time.
Barcode scanning
The TE-2400 can be used in conjunction with a barcode scanner to improve the efficiency
of your business. This function allows up to 5000 products to be scanned into the
cash register, ensuring that products are sold at the correct price and eliminating
the need to manually enter prices. Scanning a products' barcode at the point of
sale, allows you to use shelf edge labels to indicate product pricing, eliminating
the need for staff to individually price each item.
Display
The TE-2400 features a bright, contrast adjustable 5.2-inch LCD operator display
with 2 x 16 character lines to display product details and a 7 digit display for
product price. This means your staff can easily see the details of the items they
are selling to ensure accuracy. A standard pop-up rear display ensures your customers
can see the price they are paying, giving them peace of mind.

Help function
The TE-2400 is simple to operate, however there is also a user-friendly "HELP" button
on the keyboard. Answers to frequently asked questions such as how to programme
the time and date can be printed on the receipt printer for easy reference.
Peripherals
For maximum flexibility, the TE-2400 features two serial ports for direct connection
to PC, modem, printers or scanners.
Reports and useful functions
Daily reports can be printed on the TE-2400 using compressed printing. Other useful
functions include clerk interrupt, scheduler function; set menu function, arrangement
function and memory allocation.

The TE-2400 features a Compact Flash (CF) card slot, which allows reports to be
saved to a CF card for easy transferral to PC for manipulation with other software.
Program data can also be stored for backup purposes.
Please note that the TE-2200 holds many of the same features at the TE-2400, but
does have certain limits.
