How Cunninghams EPOS Solutions got where it is today!
Cunninghams is now a third generation family company that was founded by Robert Cunningham in 1975 at Selly Oak in
Birmingham.
The company moved to bigger premises in 1983 - Moseley in Birmingham became Cunninghams' new home.
Robert retired in 1992, leaving Lawrence Bailey his son-in-law to continue to build and mould the company in this
fast moving world of technology.
In 1998 the cashless systems department was created and has grown to place Cunninghams not only a leader in the
Epos market but also in the cashless systems market as well.
After almost 20 ground breaking years at Moseley, Cunninghams head office moved to four purpose build units at Headley
Technology Park in Wythall near Birmingham.

Cunninghams have acquired two new companies ACR based in Belfast who operates under Cunninghams ACR and CRS in Nairn near
Inverness Who operates under Cunninghams CRS. Both of these companies are family run who Cunninghams have had a relationship
with for over three decades.
In November 2008, we lost Lawrence Bailey in a tragic Helicopter accident. He will always be remembered to those who knew him as a kind,
warm hearted man, who was always there to help others, whether they be customers, employees or suppliers. The company is deeply saddened by
the loss, but are determined to push forwards with the success that Lawrence had achieved.
Clive Quinn joined Cunninghams in March 1983 as Service Manager, and in 1993 was appointed to the Board of Directors as Technical
Director. In September 2002 Clive assumed the position of Managing Director of the company, enabling Lawrence to concentrate as Sales
Director.
Cunninghams continues to grow with our experienced and capable employees, combined with the judicious recruitment of new
personnel with complementary and supplementary skills, Cunninghams has, over the years, achieved a steady rate of organic
growth whilst always maintaining a high reputation for quality and service.
Cunninghams has recently added to it portfolio to enable it to provide customers with a complete EPoS solution.
Starting with monitoring the customers as they approach the premises, to compiling and controlling reports, from a remote head
office if required.

their demanding busy working environment.
