Cunninghams Cashless has dedicated its resources to finding the most suitable methods of Cashless payment within the
EPoS market. What it means to be Cashless is to have an EPoS solution that requires an alternate method of
payment instead of the traditional cash option. We have dedicated our Secondary Cashless Solution to a Biometric system
and a Card System, meaning that instead of paying with cash, our customers use either a fingerprint or a swipe card.
The Cunninghams Impact Cashless System holds each user details, balances and transactions centrally for both
Biometric system and the Card system. Accounts can be topped up either at the back office or at appropriately
located revaluation units. Accounts can also be credited by Direct/Credit Card via a secure online payment facility.
The system can interface with any standard card technology and also biometric system access. Our biometric system and card system
can operate remotely, powered by battery with real-time data transfer via radio communication.
Clients who operate multi-sites can take advantage of Cunninghams ‘Head Office’ software. This enables our customers
access to system reports which are automatically downloaded to a central website saving on costly administration.
Removes or reduces the need for pupils to carry cash
The pupil’s account can be credited by a parent by cash, cheque or online directly to the school or by the pupil at a
remote wall mounted revaluation unit. The option for the parent/guardian to pay directly to the school ensures the money
is spent in school and not elsewhere.
Removes the opportunity for bullying and improves pupil welfare.
The biometric system and card system means that the account hold no monetary value and the pupil either does
not carry cash or less frequently, resulting in the opportunity for bullying being reduced. It also ensures parents that
their child is on school premises at all times.
Removes the ‘free school meal’ stigma
Pupils entitled to a ‘free school meal’ allowance has an account like all the paying pupils so the stigma is
removed. The ‘free school meal’ allowance is automatically allocated by the biometric system or the card system
on a daily basis, freeing up your staff from supervisory duties of issuing vouchers or tokens on a daily basis. Unused meal
allowance is removed daily and does not accumulate as a balance on the pupils account.
