Testimonials

City Catering have worked with Cunningham's for around five years when they took over the cashless systems previously installed by an alternative supplier. Cunningham's swiftly took control of what was a virtually unmanageable situation and installed a system which met everyone's needs. The training which backed up the installation and operation of the system was well delivered and easy for the catering staff operating the system to understand.

The Cunningham's system is easy to operate and provides all the management information we require. The hardware elements of the system are tough, robust and stand up to any mis use from students.

On the few occasions when there have been issues with the system the service we have received from the company has always been quick efficient and delivered by courteous employees.

I can unreservedly recommend the Cunninghams cash less systems.

We introduced our first cashless school meals system about 6 years ago and it’s still going strong. Cunningham’s was selected because they were competitively priced, offered and very good after sales service and other authorities I contacted said they found them to be trustworthy and cooperative.

The most important thing for us is an excellent relationship and service to our customers, in all the years we have used Cunningham’s, in all the sites, they have never let us down. Indeed, we are so impressed with their systems and service we are partnering with them to pilot our first on line school meals payment system.

In short our staff on site, supervisors, managers and most importantly our customers are delighted with the service Cunningham’s have provided.

I have worked with a number of Cashless System providers over the years and have found Cunninghams Biometric cashless system to be the best. The software is easy to use by the catering staff and the range of reports produced provides comprehensive management information.

Cunningham’s deliver a first class call out and repair and maintenance service which is essential for the school meal catering where business continuity is our main priority. Cunningham’s also liaise directly with the schools staff which is vital for the system to work effectively.

As a specialist in Biometric Systems in schools Cunningham’s are continually improving the technology and perfecting the system to meet customer demands. Although not the cheapest system on the market Cunningham’s for me does offer the most comprehensive and reliable cashless service in schools.

As independent advisors to many UK schools and colleges, we are always confident in recommending Cunningham’s to our Clients. Their status as the market leading cashless catering provider has been well earned over recent years.

They offer a cost effective product backed up by professional installation and training, plus proactive maintenance support. Our Client’s key objectives - improving speed of service, achieving higher student uptake and promoting healthy eating initiatives have been met in full.

The user friendly interface is intuitive for users and School Managers are empowered to identify potential student welfare issues, whilst saving the substantial time and costs normally associated with transacting cash. An excellent and robust system.

Cunninghams have been a supplier of cashless systems to Lancashire County Commercial Group - School Catering Services (Formerly Lancashire County Commercial Services) for a number of years now; having placed our first order with them in 2002 we are now preparing to go live with the 19th Cunninghams IMPACT Cashless Catering Solution in September 2009.

In conjunction with LCCG School Catering Services, the system offers the Lancashire schools a more efficient and flexible way to buy a healthily balanced school meal.

We have found Cunninghams to be very professional but friendly in their approach to each new project with LCCG and cannot fault their after service. We are confident in the knowledge that our Catering Unit Managers, some of which had no prior PC experience, have an approachable technical support team should they need to contact them.

Cunningham’s Cashless Systems and Derbyshire County Council

The first Cashless Systems came into operation in 2002 in one of Derbyshire’s Secondary schools. Since then Cunningham’s have been providing systems for the authority.

In 2006 an additional 5 Biometric Systems where introduced and following their success the majority of the old card systems have been updated to biometrics.

We have found the following:-
  • The systems are customer friendly
  • The staff find the new touch screen tills easy to use
  • Service calls are quickly responded to
  • My client manager is always available to answer questions and help with school or parent enquiries
  • Training and installations are always thorough and professional
  • Schools have confidence in the system and the company
  • The pupils like using the biometrics as it speeds up the service

We look forward to continuing to work with Cunningham’s on Cashless Systems in schools in the future

We introduced our first cashless card system in 2002, choosing Cunninghams as the supplier after a comprehensive review of all other systems. The initial installation went very smoothly and was very successful, Cunninghams providing complete project management, training and support.

Following this Cunninghams went on to install the system in all 12 of our high schools, each time giving a professional, but friendly service, very necessary when working with our unit managers, many of who had no computer experience.

We are still working with Cunninghams having upgraded all our systems to biometric systems over the last couple of years and they continue to provide a high class service always “going that little bit further” to ensure a job well done.

It has been our long ambition to move to cashless catering in our large comprehensive school, in order to provide a more efficient, flexible method for parents and students to buy healthy food with us.

We chose to go with Cunninghams IMPACT cashless catering system, having visited schools to see it in action. Three days into our launch we have not been disappointed. The technology itself has created massive interest amongst the students so that already we are attracting new 'customers' into the cafeteria at breakfast, break and lunchtimes.

The staff at Cunninghams have been helpful, courteous and approachable right from the beginning. I can't speak too highly of Paul, our representative, who has worked with us, helping us choose the system best suited to our needs, advising on communications with parents and guiding us through the process of introducing the new technology. His colleagues have also been consistently helpful with the set up and training so that we have had 'our hands held' right the way through.

We are confident that, with immediate technical help at the end of a phone line, things will continue to run smoothly.

Liverpool Healthy Schools are pleased to be working with Cunninghams on our cashless catering system programme.

Liverpool City Council and Liverpool Primary Care Trust launched the Transforming School Food Strategy in April 2008. One of the aims of the strategy is to increase the number of secondary school pupils in Liverpool accessing a school meal.

Cunninghams have installed biometric cashless catering systems into 21 Liverpool secondary schools. Liverpool has a high eligibility for free school meals and it is hoped that the systems will increase free school meal uptakes.

Liverpool Healthy Schools Team is pleased with the high quality service that we have received for such a large number of schools. Communication between Cunninghams and the Healthy Schools Team has been excellent. We have been working with Cunninghams since April 2008 and are happy to continue working with them.
